A note about colours

A note about the centre seam

To ensure your picnic rug doesn't change shape in the warmth of the sun, the printed fabric is pre shrunk before it's sewn together. We strive for the closest centre seam print alignment possible; an alignment variance of up to 3cm can be expected and is not considered a fault.

About the artist

Alex Mason is an Australian artist from Inverell, NSW. Her work is distinguished by its vibrant, bold colours and rich textures, achieving a three-dimensional effect through a mix of acrylic paint and thickener.

Using palette knives and piping techniques, Alex creates sculptural pieces reminiscent of the textured, tactile qualities found in her mother's art from the 90s.

Influenced by nature, particularly her mother’s fragrant spring garden filled with colorful native flowers, Alex’s art reflects this lush, sensory experience.

She turned to art as a means to manage her anxiety, finding the creative process to be instrumental in her healing. Alex firmly believes in the power of art to heal and bring joy.
